Rachana's Story

The Challenge

Living with multiple sclerosis, she relied on a walking stick for two years and struggled with mobility.

The Solution

Building a strong foundation from the ground up. Using breathwork and core engagement to help her transition to basic movement patterns like hinging and squatting. In depth coaching and real time adjustments during her strength sessions, as well as empathy on days when she needed it. A slow, intentional progression of movements and understanding to help build confidence in her ability to move.

The Result

In just five months of personalized, thoughtful coaching, she regained strength, confidence and independence. On a recent trip to Japan, she walked over 15,000 steps a day- through city streets, temple climbs, and mountain trails – without her walking stick. Something her husband says they could hardly imagine a few months prior.

Zaire's Story

The Challenge

She came in with a busy schedule and wanting to lose weight as well as dealing with some knee and back issues.

The Solution

Helping her build a stronger core and understanding how to be intentional with movement. Detail oriented strength training in multiple facets, as well as adjusting workouts when needed have greatly improved her movement capabilities.

The Result

She has lost 30 pounds while gaining strength, as well as greatly improving her knee/back pain. She has been a long-time client but recently hiked 30 miles with 4,000+ft of elevation for her 30th birthday, across 3 national parks.

Soloman's Story

The Challenge

As a young athlete involved in many forms of martial arts, he dealt with a considerable amount of back pain as well as dealing with some mobility issues. He also has been wanting to add lean muscle mass.

The Solution

Coaching through various movements and learning how to manage pressure through his core. We also covered several breathing techniques that helped him understand how to effectively use his core as he goes through the many physical challenges of being an athlete as well as a coach. Building awareness of body mechanics and progressive overload with his strength and conditioning has been key.

The Result

He has now put on lean muscle mass while also overcoming his initial pain and mobility issues. He has accumulated winning records in multiple forms of martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and MMA, all while still coaching these martials as well. While there has been remarkable success for him, at the age of 19, he is just scratching the surface of his success.
